Traveling
General
For delegates interested in traveling in and around Copenhagen, we recommend using the online travel planning website Rejseplanen (both an English and German version is available). While single ticket sales are available at all Metro stations and onboard all busses, we recommend purchasing one of two options to keep expenditures down:
1. If you do not plan on doing much traveling in Copenhagen (apart from going the airport to your hotel and between your hotel and the conference venue), we recommend purchasing a two-zone punchcard (also known as a ten-trip ticket).
These cost about 20 euros (150 DKK) and permit 10 trips within the greater Copenhagen area. These punchcards can be bought at 7-Eleven kiosks located at all larger train stations including Nørreport and in all Metro station ticket vending machines (their appearance may differ from the image above). Please note that when you travel from the airport to the city center (or vice versa) you need to punch it twice. When traveling inside the city center or from your hotel to the conference venue, you only need to punch it once.
2. If you plan on doing a bit of traveling and sightseeing in Copenhagen, then buying a 72-hour city pass is a better idea. An adult 72-hour City Pass costs about 27 euros (200 DKK) and gives you unlimited access to buses, trains, metro and harbor buses in zones 1, 2, 3 and 4, which includes the center of Copenhagen and to and from the airport. You can buy a City Pass at the airport or the larger stations as well as online.
Copenhagen Airport
International travelers visiting Copenhagen will arrive at Copenhagen International Airport and exit the airport through Terminal 3 (see map below).
The blue markers designate taxi pick-up and the red markers designate taxi drop-off. The yellow circle designates Copenhagen airport train station, and the yellow square designates Copenhagen airport metro station.

To the Conference Venue
Address
The IRFC 2014 venue is located at:
Aalborg University Copenhagen
A. C. Meyers Vænge 15
2450 Copenhagen SV
Denmark
To get to the conference venue we recommend you take the S-train ('S-tog') to Sydhavn station. You can either take the blue A-line in the direction of Hundige/Solrød Strand or the purple E-line in the direction of Køge. These trains stop at all the major S-train stations in the city center. You can recognize these train stations by the logo shown in the top-right corner of the map below.
At the central station (marked as 'København H' in the map above), the S-trains leave from tracks 11-12; at the other stations follow the signs to the S-trains ('S-tog'). When traveling from within the city center, you only need to punch your two-zone punch card once to go to Sydhavn.
From Sydhavn station, the conference venue is only a 10-minute walk. The map below (left) shows how to get to the venue (below right). Once inside, the registration desk will be clearly sign-posted.
Conference Banquet
The conference banquet will take place at Restaurant SULT in the city center. To get to SULT, walk back to the Sydhavn train station and take an S-train to Nørreport station. You can take either the blue A-line in the direction of Farum or the purple E-line in the direction of Hillerød.
The restaurant is located approximately 500 meters away from Nørreport station and walking there takes about 7 minutes. The map below shows the route in more detail. The address of the restaurant is Vognmagergade 8 B, 1120 Copenhagen.
